NOTES: We highly recommend you get quotes from a company affiliated with a major U.S. van line, often referred to as an agent (i.e. Bekins Van Lines, Atlas Van Lines, Allied Van Lines, North American Van Lines and United Van Lines). We, ITS Global Relocation Services, are an agent for Bekin Van Lines. We are the only Bekins agent in the Portland, OR area. It's important to also note that Bekins Van Lines is partnered with Wheaton Worldwide Moving, another major U.S. van line. There are two Wheaton agents in the Portland, OR area. Since Bekins and Wheaton agents are one-in-the-same, we do not compete amongst ourselves for interstate business, so if you've already received a quote from a Wheaton agent we'll kindly refer you to another van line carrier.
International move:
- O’Neill Transfer & Storage
- Lile International Companies dba Lile Relocation & Logistics Services
Office move:
- Rose City Moving & Storage
- WDI Co. of Oregon Inc.

Non-Allowable items are any item that has an excessive degree of risk in being transported. Some good questions to keep in mind when packing are:
1) Can it spoil, leak, or potentially explode?
2) Can it cause a fire or be affected by heat or cold?
3) Is it alive?
Be aware that some items cannot be packed during some seasons, but are okay to be packed during others, such as: candles in the summer, or liquids in the winter. Below you can find a list of items that are never permitted to be transported in your shipment:
1) Wine Collection
2) Aerosols
3) Poison
4) Ammunition
5) Propane tanks of any kind
6) Fire Extinguishers
7) Perishable or Frozen Foods
8) Live Plants
9) Flammables

1) It's important to know that Moving & Storage warehouses like ours operate differently than public storage facilities. We store a majority of your goods in 7'x5'x7' wooden vaults, sofas on oversize storage racks and large rugs and other potential goods on our 2nd floor mezzannine, which make your goods not as easily accessible.
a. To view/access your goods or add/remove goods to/from storage, you will need to call and make an appointment with our Dispatcher/Warehouseman, Ty Tuck, at 503-287-2700.
i. Our warehouse is open Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to Noon and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
ii. Warehouse labor fees will incur and will be added to your existing storage account for the time it takes our warehouseman to pull and/or put away your vaulted or oversize items.
Any furniture, including beds, that requires disassembly by the driver/movers at origin will be reassembled by the driver/movers at destination unless the furniture is being delivered to a storage facility. Please note this does not apply to specialty items such as:
a. Large appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.).
b. Items bolted, screwed, or wired into a wall.
c. Anything with electrical components that can/will be affected by disassembly.
Not all items can be disassembled by our drivers and crew members. If you are unsure whether we can disassemble/reassemble an item, do not hesitate to reach out to your move coordinator for clarification prior to your move day.
Valuation is a legal liability that moving companies must offer to cover damage or loss caused by the mover’s actions. Valuation is regulated by federal law and is offered in two levels: released value protection (60 cents per lb per article) at no additional cost, and full value protection at a premium.
Insurance is a contract between you an insurance company that covers loss or damage. This coverage is sometimes limited to acts of God, fire and other unforeseen events. You will need to check with your insurance company to make sure you have sufficient coverage for what you need.
